Philosopha4

It was a slow day at work.  However, I felt relieved when I was leaving for some unknown reason.  Maybe it was the Big Meeting that happened earlier.  At home I ate four bananas and two bagels with soy cheese for dinner.  Then I took a nap.  Then I accidentally found Object Dock free program on download.com and installed it.  It's great.
Philosophical break:
Life teaches us to appreciate itself.  It is not in comparing of what you have to what you could have had or what others have, but finding new enjoyment in what you already have.  Once you stop appreciating the little things that are available to you, soon you will be shown that you were not appreciative enough of what you were allowed to have.  As with a person who is complaining that his neighbors have caviar for breakfast, lunch and dinner and they can't afford it even once a week: soon they don't have money to buy even the bread...and starve...and think back to time when they had lots of bread and how great it was.  Or with someone who envies the powers of others that they don't have: they also don't have the responsibilities that come with power.  One day it's your local multimillionaire, the next day same person is your milkman, released on parole from prison, where they landed for crimes necessary to upkeep their multimillionaire's lifestyle.  However, it seems that sometimes the milkman is always a milkman, and multimillionaire is always a very rich man.  So this is not a law of life.  It's just a repeating occurrence.  The only real law of life known so far is that everything that lives eventually dies.  And it occurred to me that this fact is easier to accept for the milkman who is always a milkman, then for a multimillionaire who is always a multimillionaire.
