Monday, almost April 2010

My parents went on a cruise vacation in Carribean and I temporarily moved into their apartment to watch over/feed/walk the poodle.  I received Settlers 7 but I am told that computer needs certain programs that the processor doesn't support unless I upgrade the videocard.  That's nonsense.  The makers of game should have highlighted that on pre-order form.  Maybe I wouldn't buy it.  Still trying to overcome the difficulties, but it seems to me the game might play only on parent's laptop, if anywhere, since it's brand new...doubt my old computer will be able to play it.  That's sad....

Eating blackberries and drinking iced coffee...

Started playing Majesty2.  Interesting, relaxing game, good thought-out actions, good AI, even though the characters seem to come from some schizophrenic creative mind that needs psychiatric evaluation.  Of course, it's no Stalker, so it's unlikely I will spend the whole night at computer without breaks.  After work, I went to my favorite place on Avenue U and bought lots of Nescafe Mocha cans for 50cents each.  I also got Pho Chai that I am eating now, and a girdle for my back, with pain relieving lotion.  Upper back, not the lower back.  It was raining all day.  I was very philosophical for first part of it, and then, ironically, my head and body was on fire again...go figure.  Nothing that an extra cup of coffee with some creamer and lots of sugar can't fix, of course.

Sunday

I am still playing Stalker: Clear Sky, close to its end.  I am stuck on seemingly last level, chasing Strelok.  That would be the third Stalker game I played.  I already received a CD with Majesty 2, so I guess that's what I will be playing next.

Playing STALKER: Clear Sky...goes well so far on low graphics.  Can't play it with updated patch: then it slows down.
Couldn't find any new interesting games on WildGames Tangent network.
Making a new CD for car.  Can't find good songs...
Got a new haircut, shorter, but forgot to shave.
Bought a huge gallon of Snapple Peach Ice Tea.  Everything is peachy.
As usually, mandatory blood drainage.  Low on energy.  Fixed with slice of pizza and coffee.  Will eat garlic nuts for supper.  Be healthy! Fuck you.

Monday. It's Monday again...

I woke up with a feeling that I need to burn a new CD for in-car listening.
Yeah!

I am at peace with the world and its destiny.
I like myself.
It's great to be healthy!

Saturday

The time is moved one hour ahead.  Some say we change the time to early this year.
I am sick.  Luckily, only physically. Sneezing, coughing, itchy throat, etc.  Taking lots of RX of various kinds.
I have to be present at COJO meeting tomorrow - inaugurating my boss at work, so I better take a lot of pills and show up even if I don't feel fine.  On the bright side, my parents saw my grandmother, told her that I am not feeling well - and she said I don't have to come see her: she's afraid to catch a virus.
I am redowloading Stalker: Clear Skies.  I did not play through most part of the game before, because it was running too slow.  Now I have extra 3 GB of RAM, hopefully my computer will speed it up on low graphics setting.   I ordered another computer game.  Should arrive next week.  I am bored.

Wednesday, March 10th 2010

Today I drank more tea than coffee for the first time for past 10 years.  I enjoyed the tea again.  Something is changing on internal scale.  I am back to tea.  That's awesome.  BUT I still need a cup of coffee every morning.  And with all these tea drinkings, I had TWO cups of coffee in the morning, and then another one at lunch...
Change is quite slow...

march 8

Just came back from private celebration at my parents' apartment.  Event: birthday of my father.  He's 58.  We ate a lot.  I brought sushi from Kawaii, new place on Avenue U, and two gyros from Грузинский Дворик next to it.  I don't eat meat, but my parents do.  I also bought lots of miso soup.  We sat around, ate, watched TV, I drank tomato juice when they were doing toasts with wine and vodka.  Now I will play Tradewinds2.  Tomorrow is another working day.  I may not fall asleep soon, since I had tea with double bags...
Life goes on.

I had pleasant Stalker-like dreams.  I wasn't sure if that was heaven or exotic trip.  Compared to my life it felt like heaven.  My teeth are not pulled since morning.  When I went to bed they weren't pulled before I felt asleep.  Maybe God does have an ear for His subjects??  Don't know, but I doubt my teeth will be alright all day.  I bet the excavation will resume shortly.
At times I just refuse to believe what I know, see or hear.  At times I think that whatever seems real to me is another game played on me.  It may well be that everyone I see and hear has been long dead in Apocalyptic events and I am just watching my memories of living things that were around me before they perished forever...  Maybe my subconscious mind is inventing stories for myself to help me deal with eternal loneliness?

MESSAGE TO A PERMANENT ASSHOLE...BUT MIGHTLY ASSHOLE IN CHARGE

MAYBE SOMEONE UP THERE WILL REALIZE THAT THEY CAN'T GET ANY MORE MONEY FROM SHAKE'N'BAKING ME....THERE IS NOTHING LEFT.  WHY DON'T YOU LEAVE ME ALONE, WINNER?

Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010

I stayed at home.  I couldn't sleep all night due to teeth ache that caused me much headache.  Now it's just few teeth that are being pulled out of my mouth from outside, pain is less intense, although I still took pain medication.  If I will not be feeling better tomorrow, I might take another sick day.  It's better: I can't help patients under such pain...
I played Plants Vs. Zombies on computer most of day.  It's a childish game.  I liked it.
I didn't finish the game Prototype.  It's still stalling my computer even on low graphics settings.  I think they need audio file patch.  It's a good game, very interesting, but needs patching to be more enjoyable.
That's all I would like to share with the world at this time.
