PROTOTYPE is a great game, but it needs some patches: audio is not working in movies, it probably uses too much C++ which means only latest computers can play it without stalling.  I find myself turning off computer, or game every 20 to 30 minutes, because it simply stops...  Even though it's a great game, unless it faces technical difficulties, there is no fun playing it. 

I gotta take my underwear and socks to laundromat today.  Parents decided to assist in tax preparation - they will take all documents to accountant.  Mother is cleaning the kitchen - asked her not to do it, but she thinks she's being helpful.  Not selling me for alcohol and meat on black market would be much more helpful.  I have to make a CD for her later today and check if the wireless mouse is working.

It's Wednesday morning, before going to work.

I finished playing Stalker: Call of Pripyat and started a new game: Prototype.  The character is a Super Man that tries to figure out who made him into that and punish them for it.  Very good character development, super moves, sort of Hulk meets Spiderman meets Superman meets Batman meets Agent Rodrigues from Just Cause. The only problem is that my computer is chewing audio and video movies from game which jeopardizes otherwise excellent experience.  I hope they will come up with audio patch... my sound system is fine for all other games of same category...

I am seeing Britain for second night in a row in dreams...that's weird..I thought Japanese come out as French...must have eaten something like oatmeal?  Oh, it must be food from Chinese supermarkets...

I finished playing Stalker: Call of Pripyat, third in a series.  It was excellent.  Game sort of ended, but I am still playing...Helicopters left....I stayed behind...There is a guy called Garry who can take me out of Zone any time I want...Then it will be the end of game. 

Final Booking Done

After several bookings and cancellations, with a negative bank balance, I finally booked the trip for April - it's going to be a vacation in Tokyo, Japan.  Originally, I was thinking Thailand - cheap hotels, but inconvenient and too long flights (+2 days); then it was Hong Kong - too expensive; but this deal is excellent: 50% off hotel, very cheap direct flight.  Hopefully, nothing bad will happen to me before vacation and I'll see the magical kingdom.

Again, I did not choose a vacation spot for April.
And it's too bad that Amtrak doesn't go to Cape Cod since 1997...

I guess they also didn't think this world will last that long.

I had a large sub sandwich with thinly sliced fried eggplant and chick peas salad on top.  I might be going to Hong Kong for vacation later on.
I may eat another sandwich like that later on.  I am still hungry.

beginning of long weekend

My parents tried to help me find good places for vacation on site given by a volunteer at work.  Really good prices all over the Europe, affordable possibly due to recession.  That was nice of volunteer.  I did not choose anything.  There is nowhere I would like to go for vacation.  I can afford it, but I am still trying to find a place with human beings that don't suck blood or eat other people.  Doubt I will find such place on Earth.

Monday will be off!

Today a wicked thought entered my brain as I was pondering where to take vacation in April:  I decided to get an Amtrak ticket to an evil place where the route 222 crosses the route 999....

It's been snowing from early morning.
The snow "storm" gained momentum around lunch hour and still goes on.  It will be hard to be on time to work tomorrow.  Alternative side parking is suspended, but the schools will be open tomorrow, unlike today.
What is there to SNOW?  Don't really know, but Mayor said he has good news: there won't be total white-out tomorrow.  White as in direction, movement, or as in color of population?  Mayor did not explain.  I don't snow.

I see a lot of bears in my dreams lately.  Not cats or dogs...wonder what it means...Well, at least they are very friendly.

it's 2:24 am on Monday

I no longer believe God is happening on this planet.
There will be righteous and infidels, there will be killings in name of deities, there will be proper and improper ways to understand them and the God...but I don't believe God is happening on this planet.  Ever....

I got two consecutive days with good night sleep, without nightmares.  Although I did wake up today dreaming of lack of oxygen....
Wild Tangent doesn't have any decent games other than very few.  It's a waste of money.  Too bad I would need to pay off the full balance to cancel it.  Money rip-off.

I booked a nice 7-day and night deal at Phuket, Thailand for vacation, but the flights there cost three times more than the whole week of living there.  I had to cancel the reservations.  Still awaiting refund...
On the bright side, I received a Hugo Boss free cologne bottle from a testing company.

I just realized how lucky I was to get an apartment to rent and a job on this planet.

But that is not important.  What's important is that I am going to cafeteria to take my lunch break and I have enough money to fill my stomach with decent food.
